KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- National air carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is targeting 13,000 passengers for its direct flight service from Kuala Lumpur to Manchester, UK within the first year of its introduction, said its vice president for passenger sales, Datuk Rashid Khan.
Advanced bookings for the service had shown that there is good demand for this particular sector, especially with the Easter holiday just around the corner, he told reporters today at the pre-launch ceremony here to mark MAS' inaugural flight to the city.
