A general ledger contains every bit of a company's financial information, but it does not always yield up answers at first glance. Now, financial and human resources software vendor Lawson Software proposes to solve that problem with its new Strategic Ledger and other parts of its Insight II suite, all released last week.
The Insight II modules are based on a new object-oriented component architecture -- Business Objects, or "Bobjects" -- that Lawson introduced in February.
