Even though many are finding it increasingly difficult to find skilled labor, Maryland manufacturing companies are expecting an increase in revenues this year, according to a recent survey conducted by the University of Baltimore.
The university's quarterly Maryland Business Climate Survey found that businesses are expecting a productive year in raising revenue due to a healthy business climate driven by the continuing strong economy.
Of those surveyed in the fourth quarter last year, 66 percent expect to have increased revenues this year, compared to 64 percent last year.
