Paul Hoffman has a nickname around the office.

"People refer to Paul as Willy Wonka," said Fred Meltzer, chief executive of Hoff man's Chocolate Shoppes.

Instead of promising a lifetime of chocolate to five golden ticket holders, Paul Hoffman offers free access to lush botanical gardens, toy trains and a winter wonderland during the holidays to anyone visiting his Lake Worth chocolate factory.

It's the last of these free attractions that has given Hoffman the best exposure in recent years.

The chocolate shop's holiday decorations, which feature 150,000 lights, drew 65,000 people this past December.
