The Nordstrom push is on - and it could get pricey.

Cincinnati Economic Development Director Andi Udris traveled to Seattle in May for a meeting with the upscale retailer that the city is trying to lure downtown. The company's top real estate executive says no further meetings are planned.

Udris declined to comment on the May 10-12 trip, but a travel voucher he filed with the city in late May indicates he attended a "meeting in Seattle, Washington with (a) prospective retail anchor tenant."

Nordstrom Executive David Mackie, who last September confirmed the retailer's interest in the Cincinnati market, said he met with Udris in May. But Mackie …
