GeriMed benefits from streamlining

Hospital system HealthOne will cut in half its senior health clinics in an attempt to streamline what has been a costly business for the Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp. subsidiary.

HealthOne will no longer operate two physician practices located near North Suburban Medical Center and is divesting its interest in a clinic affiliated with Aurora Regional Medical Center. A Rose Medical Center senior health clinic in east Denver most likely will be converted to a general family practice clinic, said HealthOne officials.

Senior primary care clinics at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood and Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in central Denver will remain part of HealthOne, at …
