MURORAN, Hokkaido -- Rescuers on Friday continued to look for a third person after finding the bodies of two passengers who were aboard a light plane that disappeared on Thursday off Hokkaido, Maritime Safety Agency officials said.

The officials found ID cards on the bodies and confirmed that the two are pilot Akira Yoshie, 50, from Hakodate, Hokkaido, and Toyota Motor Corp. employee Shigetaka Tanaka, 34, from Shizuoka Prefecture.

The third person -- Toyota Motor employee Ikuo Maeda, 45, from Shizuoka Prefecture -- and the plane have not yet been found, the officials were reported as saying.
