Casella's Net Income Goes Up 366%.
Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (25 Green Hills Lane, Rutland, VT 05701; Tel: 802/775-0325), a regional, non-hazardous solid waste services company, reports a 366% increase in net income for the quarter ended Oct. 31, 1998. The company reported pro forma net income of $3.1 million, versus $655,087 for the same period last year. Fully diluted earnings per share for the quarter were $0.20. Revenue for the quarter was $41.5 million versus $33.6 million for the same period last year, a 24% increase. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased 79% to $11.3 million, compared to $6.3 million in the same period last year. Second quarter results …
