One of the biggest complaints from women business owners is the difficulty they have gaining access to capital.

A new resource directory, which will be introduced later this month, should help women business owners see their businesses grow. The guide, "Women Entrepreneurs: Access to Capital & Educational Services," includes listings and resources for 14 counties in Western New York and Rochester.

"Does this give women the money? No. But it houses all the organizations and centers that help women get access to money," said Elizabeth Pap, assistant vice president at M&T Bank and chairman of the steering committee that developed the directory.
