KISSIMMEE - In yet another blow to plans for an Osceola County Convention Center, the Florida Supreme Court has refused to speed up a hearing on questions surrounding bond financing for the project.

The recent court decision could delay construction on the convention center and adjoining World Expo Center by months, according to county attorneys - and in the process, raise the price tag.

It's the latest in a series of major recent setbacks raising questions about whether the long-awaited center complex will ever get out of the ground.
