Sanitrol Systems, Inc. (8330 S.W. 176th St., Miami, FL 33157-6146; Tel: 305/233-2326) designed a pretreatment process for dangerous biological waste, waste chemicals, and other flowable waste. This process is designed to eliminate, or render harmless or inert, organic waste materials such as diseased human blood, cells and tissue, residual solvents used in cleaning human cells and tissue, and microorganisms for safe, charge neutralized, and harborless release into conventional utility sewer systems (U.S. Patent 5,811,014).
