The Series 16C is a microprocessor based autotuning instrument that can be used for closed loop control of temperature or virtually any other process variable to a full scale accuracy of +/-0.2%. In addition to PID set point control, the controller offers an option for eight levels of programmable ramp! soak recipes with associated event alarms, on/off control with adjustable hysteresis and deadband, or manual control using a specified fixed percentage of output power.
