Encarnacao may join Puma; Grothgar may go FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Reports circulated last week that Steve Encarnacao, former vice president of marketing at Reebok International Ltd., Canton, would soon be named to head up all footwear operations at Puma USA Inc.

Encarnacao, who resigned from Reebok approximately three months ago, last week acknowledged to FN he had held discussions with Herbie Kunz, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Puma USA about the position, and was thinking the offer over.

Encarnaco's contract with Reebok reportedly is in effect through the end of July. Sources said Encarnaco may assume the Puma USA job as of Aug. 1. …
