Fisher sees chinaware, belts in 9 West's future

Fisher Camuto's licensing and franchising division plans to take 9 West into china--the kind one eats on, not the kind one goes to.

And that's just the beginning of the plans licensing manager Irene Narissi hasfor the burgeoning division of Fisher Camuto Corp., which signed its first licensee, Carlos Falchi, for handbags, just a month ago (see FN 1 /12).

In an interview last week at Fisher Camuto's Espressioni showroom in New York, Narissi said the firm was very close to signing an agreement with a belt licensee and predicted a deal would be inked with a hosiery and sock licensee bymonth's end, and by spring/summer '88 consumers …
