SUBANG JAYA: FIREFLY Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned unit of Malaysia Airlines (MAS), will continue to innovate its product offerings despite the possible competition from Malindo Air.

Chief executive officer Ignatius Ong said, for example, Firefly will announce a joint venture with MAS on the Enrich Frequent Flyer Programme in the next couple of weeks.

"As far as I know, there is no official announcement of any competitors coming in. We are just doing what we need to do (to attract more passengers)," he said after launching Firefly's Everyday Low Fare (ELF) promotion, here, yesterday.
