About 200 Bridgestone dealers from across the country were brought to Atlanta, Ga., last month to witness the introduction of the company's two new all-season tire lines. As an added bonus, they heard about an expanded line-up of Potenza performance tires and a renewed effort by Bridgestone to the American market.
Akira Yeiri, executive vice president of Bridgestone Corporation (Japan), told the assembled dealers, "The American market remains crucially important to our continued growth and success." Addressing the U.S. passenger tire market, Yeiri stated, "It's is one of the greatest opportunities we have for increasing sales and market share."
