As surgeons, lawyers, bankers, carpenters, you name it--women are making it in a man's world in jobs that take brain power. But what about jobs that need muscle power? It's a biological fact that men are physically stronger than women--especially in the arms and chest. And that biological fact is at the heart of a fire-hot controversy over women as firefighters. Firefighting is brutal--in addition to courage, it requires a tremendous amount of strength, and many fear women just aren't strong enough to handle the job.
