Pyongyang, 15 August - The dear respected Kim Jong-un received a congratulatory message from Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on Wednesday.

The message said: I congratulate you on the day of Korea's liberation, the national holiday.

On this day we pay tribute to the braveness of the Soviet Army soldiers who supported the liberation of the Korean people from the colonial rule and express thanks to the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea, North Korea] for deeply cherishing their memory.
