Wife's worry over husband

My husband has had swollen ankles for months and now one of them has started to go black and blue. He has angina and an enlarged prostate and takes several types of medication. The doctor has asked for blood tests for his kidneys and reckons the swollen ankles and bruising is due to him standing at work -- he is a joiner. What do you think it is?
