The Karachi Port handled 164,534 tonnes of cargo comprising 124,362 tonnes of import cargo and 40,172 tonnes of export cargo including 6,712 loaded & empty containers during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Friday. The total import cargo of 124,362 tonnes comprised of 60,085 tonnes of containerised cargo; 17,001 tonnes of bulk cargo: 3,837 tonnes of DAP; 13,164 tonnes of coal and 47,276 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.

The total export cargo of 40,172 tonnes comprised of 33,195 tonnes of containerised cargo; 150 tonnes of general cargo; 6,706 tonnes of bulk cargo: 1,058 tonnes of cement; 5,648 tonnes of loose bulk cement and 121 tonnes of …
