DANIA BEACH -- Aiming to end a four-year stalemate, city commissioners Wednesday night proposed several changes to the employees union contract designed to settle ongoing labor negotiations.
The adjustments must now be voted upon by the 80-some union members of the city's approximately 116-person work force. Should the members of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees agree, their contract will be extended to the end of fiscal year 2013.
