Vice-premier calls for closer cooperation between Chinese, Australian firms.

Beijing, 30 July: Vice Premier Wang Qishan on Monday [30 July] called for closer cooperation between Chinese and Australian enterprises as he met with a group of Australian businessmen.

"The Chinese and the Australian economies are highly complementary," Wang said during his meeting with the Australian delegation, headed by Andrew Forrest, chairman of the Fortescue Metals Group.

Deepening pragmatic cooperation is conducive to boosting the economic growth and employment of the two nations, said the vice premier.
