Jakarta, July 25 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said he would consult other state institutions concerned with regard to the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) question over the settlement of the 965-66 problem.

"The state certainly has moral and political mission to settle what has happened in the country if it relates to human rights violations," he said in a press conference after a coordination meeting on law enforcement here on Wednesday.

He said consultations were needed so that wider, factual, just and constructive perspectives could be obtained for the settlement of the problem.
