BRIDGEPORT -- A city man found shot to death outside an East Main Street barbershop Monday afternoon is the third homicide victim in Bridgeport in as many days, police said.
The latest homicide -- the city's 14th of the year -- came as police continue to investigate two weekend shootings that left a 15-year-old girl and a 30-year-old restaurant owner dead.
Keijahnae "Nu Nu" Robinson, 15, was shot to death on the porch of a Brooks Street home around 2 a.m. Saturday, police said. Two hours earlier, the owner of a Wood Avenue Chinese restaurant, Min Le Zhao, was killed during an apparent robbery attempt.
City and state officials, joined by community leaders and Robinson's family, held a news conference Monday evening at police headquarters to address the recent gun violence.
