According to the decision of the European Court of Justice announced on 19 July, the Polish Act on Games of Chance and Mutual Wagering passed in November 2009 was enacted without consultation of its compliance with the EU law with the European Commission. The decision implies that the procedure of enactment of the regulations failed to satisfy the requirements of correct legislative procedure, which may provide the basis for compensation claims to entities involved in gambling business …
