The devastation of a bombing this week that killed four key members of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's inner circle has forced regional powers to shift their focus to the post-al-Assad era, say analysts. "Since day one, al-Assad's downfall has been the main goal for the Saudi-Qatari-Turkish axis," said Oraib Rentawi, the director of the Amman-based Al Quds Centre for Political Studies.
