United Methodist credit unions merge.

Two credit unions that service United Methodists and employees of the Beacon Journal have merged.
The East Ohio United Methodist Conference Credit Union and the West Ohio United Methodist Credit Union earlier this month merged operations to become the United Methodist Financial Credit Union.
The three branches -- one in Cincinnati, one at the Beacon Journal building in Akron and the headquarters in North Canton -- remain in service with the combined 17 employees.
