The following is a summary of an interview with Palikot Movement (RP) spokesperson Andrzej Rozenek, featured on gazeta.pl.
Your party has recently established a parliamentary group for secular state. Is it a serious initiative or just another way of expressing your anti-clericalism?
It is a serious initiative. We are trying to meet our pre-election promises and remove religious organisations from public space. Article 25. of the Constitution, which defines the autonomy of the Church and the state, does not allow for all state ceremonies to be attended by priests and for crosses to be hung on the walls of public offices.
