Anadarko Mozambique, the operator of the gas field, struck upto 59 metres of natural gas in the Rovuma concession Area 1 in Mozambique, which can add upto 7 to 20 trillion cubic feet (tcf) to the already discovered 17-30 tcf of recoverable natural gas reserves in the area.

The total recoverable reserves from the prospective gas bed can cumulatively yield 50 tcf or a minimum of 25 tcf.
