A WOMAN on trial for the murder of her husband told a friend "if he doesn't kill me...I'll kill him first", a court heard.

Charlotte Collinge had spoken to Jessica Dawkins about her marriage to Clifford Collinge and how she "hated the bones that he walked in".

Miss Dawkins told Nottingham Crown Court that Collinge treated her husband like an idiot, was using him for money and wanted a new life somewhere else.

"She said she wanted the house," said Miss Dawkins.
