There is little doubt that when Percy Harvin requested this week that the Minnesota Vikings trade him, general manager Rick Spielman's phone began to ring. Other teams would be foolish not to at least check to see if the unhappy, one-time NFL offensive rookie of the year might suddenly become available.
Spielman, of course, publicly said he has no plans to move one of the Vikings' few playmakers. But he, too, would be foolish not to at least ask what other teams might be willing to give up for his leading receiver.
