Jim Thome drives in four runs to help Phillies hold off Twins

Charlie Manuel saw the swing from just about the beginning, as a hitting coach in the Cleveland Indians organization. Jim Thome was a prospect then, not the eighth-best home run hitter in major league baseball history.

Still, the swing never changed much.

"I'd say the swing, if anything, he elevates the ball better," Manuel said.
