Jack McIntyre grew up playing ball at Allen Field in York's East End. He played youth league ball, Legion ball, Susquehanna League ball, played some at William Penn, too.
As he got older, he played fast-pitch softball and, eventually, moved to slow-pitch. He figures he's been playing slow-pitch since '65, maybe '66. He's played tournaments all over the country -- in just about every state in the eastern time zone. He's played at the Senior Games in Utah.
