June 12--QUEENSBURY -- Scott Berliner already is the dominant player in the Northeastern New York PGA section. Does he really need the benefit of a hole-in-one to win a tournament? Turns out he did Monday at Glens Falls Country Club. Berliner, the assistant pro at Normanside, aced the difficult 195-yard 12th hole en route to a 3-under-par 68, enough for a one-stroke victory in the Donald Ross Classic. "Apparently he needs to hole them out now," runner-up Frank Mellet, head pro at Colonie, said with a laugh. "Good for him.
