June 12--After drawing more than 15,000 people to Yellow Creek Park last year, Owensboro's ROMP: Bluegrass Roots & Branches Festival is branching out to offer even more activities for crowds this year.
Parts of the June 28-30 festival will be broadcast live on at least two public radio stations and re-broadcast on at least two others.
A children's play area -- Beumont Grinn Village -- is being added on top of the hill overlooking the main stage with puppet shows, storytellers and a variety of activities.
