June 12--Mitchell Sims had to make a choice between his two families.
There were his Owensboro Catholic High School baseball players, for whom he's been head coach the last two years and assistant coach the four years before that. And there were his four sons, three of whom were beginning to compete in youth sports. After the season Sims chose the latter, resigning from his head coaching post to spend more time with his family.
