June 11--COLONIE -- A first lieutenant in the Latham Fire Department was suspended after his arrest for allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase on a motorcycle. Nabeel Saeed, 23, was arrested Saturday after he allegedly led State Police on an 8-mile chase at high speeds along the Northway. Police alleged he reached speeds over 145 mph, the fourth motorcyclist in the region to be charged with greatly exceeding 100 mph on the area's roadways in the past month. Saeed had a passenger on the motorcycle who eventually became an unwilling participant in the chase, police said. As the motorcycle crossed over the Twin Bridges into Saratoga County, …
