PHOENIX _ Trevor Cahill will savor his memories of facing his former team Saturday.

In a battle of two pitchers traded for each other, Cahill silenced the Oakland Athletics for 7 1/3 innings as the Arizona Diamondbacks won, 8-3, in front of 28,061 fans at Chase Field.
