June 08--WEST BAY -- Kenyon King has spent a lifetime defying expectations.

This weekend, local volunteers hope to respond in kind by making some of his biggest wishes come true. Kenyon, 8, will go snorkeling, watch dolphins in the Gulf, ride a dune buggy, visit WonderWorks and on Sunday have his dream come true, fishing off Florida's coast.

It's a big deal for a child who loves hunting and fishing and fights every day for more time to do it. He said he's looking forward to snorkeling the most and eating a lot of good food. If he gets the chance, he would like to surf. The waves are the best part of the water, he said. At …
