June 06--With the additions of Southern Utah and North Dakota as full-time members and the admission of UC Davis and Cal Poly as affiliate members in football only, the Big Sky Conference is making some big changes that will affect the University of Northern Colorado next season.

The biggest change is that the conference is adding a championship in women's softball for the first time. That means UNC will drop its affiliation with the Pacific Coast Softball Conference and become a participant in the new Big Sky softball conference that will begin play next season.
