June 04--He threads a spidery tale or two with a native Mississippi flair that bring shouts of joy, not shudders. She spins yarns as big as Texas and as folksy as the Appalachians. Stories leap from traditions and experiences to become personable and memorable as the First Regional Library system presents Terrence "Da Story Weaver" Roberts and Elizabeth Ellis at its fifth annual Storytellers Festival Saturday at the Hernando Public Library, 370 W. Commerce St. The "Stories for Kids" portion starts at 2:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., there are "Stories for Grownups -- and for kids who listen like grownups."
