May 31--A complaint about unleashed dogs frolicking along Palm Beach's oceanfront may end up sanctioning the now-prohibited doggie exercise.
Town resident Marlene Silver complained about the common sight of dog owners unleashing their pets to play at the shoreline between Sunrise Avenue and Wells Road, an unguarded section of town beach.
"My feeling is that we've reached a critical mass of dogs there," Silver said. "It's not only being used by residents of the island, but by day trippers who are coming over here with their dogs."
