It's not every day a monarch marks 60 years on the throne, so I for one will be celebrating royally this Jubilee weekend.
Delirious with excitement at having four whole days off, I'll be bonding with my neighbours at a street party, where my goodwill may extend to donating a homemade Victoria sponge. On the Sunday, I'll proudly toast Her Majesty from on board a boat in the 1,000-strong flotilla that will be creating a spectacle on the Thames. Monday will see me tuning into Gary Barlow's concert from the comfort of my living room, and on Tuesday I'll trek to Buckingham Palace to catch a glimpse of the Queen on the balcony and see the RAF planes thunder past.
