Luxury Hotel Seiyo Ginza to close doors

Hotel Seiyo Ginza, a luxury hotel in the Ginza district of Chuo Ward, Tokyo, will close its doors next year after about 26 years in business, Tokyo Theatres Co., the hotel operator's parent firm, has said.
The major movie promotion company will close the hotel at the end of May in 2013, as it has decided to sell the Ginza Theatre Building that houses the property, it announced Wednesday. The hotel is run by the movie firm's wholly owned affiliate, HSG.
Saison Group opened the hotel in March 1987, but the property went under the umbrella of Tokyo Theatres in March 2000.
