The long-awaited fourth volume of Caro's work went on sale May 1 with a first printing of 125,000 copies. In addition to an Apr. 2 New Yorker excerpt, profiles ran in Esquire and the NYT Magazine. Review coverage has included raves from Bill Clinton (the May 6 NYT Book Review) and Michiko Kakutani in the daily Times. Caro has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and NPR's Morning Edition, with interviews to come on Charlie Rose, Jon Stewart, and PBS's NewsHour, followed by a seven-city tour.
