A Cornish charity which aims to raise awareness of breast cancer among young women has welcomed an MP onto its board of trustees.
North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson said he was honoured to join Bosom-BuddiesUK which speaks to young women in their final year of secondary school about the disease, and advises on how to check for symptoms. Founder Pauline Giles, from Par, said: "Dan Rogerson was the first Cornish MP that I saw once I had set up the charity and told him about my vision. From the outset he has been 100 per cent behind my work and has continued to be a great supporter.
