Plans to develop manufacturing, IT services sector

In an effort to woo investors in North Bengal, the West Bengal Government has readied a roadmap on business opportunities in the region.

The North Bengal Development Minister, Mr Gautam Deb, on Saturday unveiled a report on key opportunities and action plans for short-term and long-term growth in the region, according to a press release by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.

He was attending a seminar on growth opportunities in North Bengal organised jointly by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) in Siliguri.
