Top British dressage rider, Charlotte Dujardin caused a sensation last weekend in the Grand Prix Special at "Horses and Dreams" 2012 CDI Hagen, Germany, when she set a new world record by scoring 88.022% on Carl Hester and Roly Luard's ten-year-old Dutch warmblood gelding, Valegro. Charlotte performed a flawless test and left the arena to a standing ovation. Danish, Anna Kasprzak and her Finnish warmblood gelding Donnperignon (by Donnerhall x Mozart II) came second, with Anabel Balkenhol and her Hanoverian gelding Dablino (by De Niro x Wanderbusch II) just a fraction behind to finish in third. …
