Last time Czech soldiers belonged to this kind of a combat formation, they wore the uniforms of the [Imperial and Royal] Army of Franz Joseph I, 100 years ago. Now they will be training shoulder-to-shoulder with the Slovaks, Hungarians, Poles, and Austrians for potential deployment wearing the colours of the European Union.

The chiefs of the general staffs of the Visegrad Four countries - Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia - last week agreed on the details …
