A PASSION for baking and walking led to Anna McKenzie stepping out as a local food producer. She made cookies as an energy snack to eat on long-distance treks with family and friends.

But her cookies also found favour with fellow walkers who asked if she would make some for them.

Photographer Anna said: "I've been involved with food since I was 14 and my first job was in a food business in Bridlington.

"Walking is also a passion and I started making the cookies for us to eat on our walks in the countryside. "Family and friends who tasted the oat and chocolate cookies, which are made to my own recipe, started asking for them and it snowballed from there."

Anna, who lives in Driffield, launched Wolds Cookies in May, last year, and is a familiar figure at farmers' markets in …
